Here are the classes starting in February:

Love and Logic starts February 8, 2022 from 6-8pm. This class will meet in-person every Tuesday for five weeks. It is appropriate for raising any age child. The fee is $20 per week as an individual, $25 per week as a couple. The fee is adjustable if needed. We still do not have space to offer childcare. Battles, Hassles, Tantrums, and Tears Book

Here is what we are offering in January at Parents Place:

Battles, Hassles, Tantrums, and Tears. A four week class on parental and children's anger. Week one covers conflict resolution styles and seven techniques for handling conflict. Week two talks about self-defeating messages and discipline. Week three is on the anger cycle, calming techniques, and tantrums. Week four is all about communication and implementation. This class starts Tuesday January 11, 2022 at 6pm. Ready for Kindergarten. Free online workshop for families with children born between 9-1-16 and 8-31-21. Receive a Ready toolkit and learn how to use the materials 10 minutes a day so your child is ready to learn on their first day of kindergarten. Guiding Good Choices

This class is new to our area. It is being offered free and online. This five week class is for families with 9-14yr. olds. Learn how to develop healthy beliefs, manage anger in a positive way, strengthen family bonds, and more. November Classes at Parents Place

We will offer Active Parenting the 1st 5yrs. in November. This class will start Tuesday November 23rd from 6-8pm. This four week class is about raising children ages birth through five years old. Learn ages and stages, age appropriate discipline and consequences, some brain development, and more. We are still unable to offer childcare due to a lack of physical space. Infants too young to walk are welcome to join their parents in class.

Learn simple but effective techniques to teach children to be responsible for their own behavior. This class starts Tuesday October 12 from 6-8pm. $20 per week individually, $25 per week as a couple, adjustable if needed. Due to COVID, we are still unable to offer childcare. Ready for Kindergarten. Parents are the first and most important teachers in a child's life. Give yourself information and materials to help your child be ready to learn on their first day of kindergarten. These are online workshops for people with children born between 9-1-16 and 8-31-21.
