Parents’ Place is a 28 year old non-profit family resource center dedicated to promoting a community commitment to healthy parenting, strengthening and supporting families and ensuring the well-being of children of all ages.

Parents’ Place offers classes, home visits, referrals, support groups, and supervised visitation to families throughout Cowlitz County.

We are offering Battles, Hassles, Tantrums, and Tears in July. This four week class on parental and children's anger starts Tuesday July 9 at 6:30pm. Learn different methods of handling conflict, techniques to handle conflict, appropriate discipline, family communication, and more. $20 per week, adjustable upon request. If you bring children with you to class, bring snacks and something to keep them busy. Call 360-414-9212 for more information or to register.

We are starting two more classes in June.

Active Parenting the 1st 5 years starts Thursday June 6 from 6-8pm. This four week class is about raising children birth through five years old. There is no childcare available and if you need to bring children with you to class, bring snacks and something to keep them busy during class. The fee is $20 per week, adjustable upon request.
