Parents’ Place is a 28 year old non-profit family resource center dedicated to promoting a community commitment to healthy parenting, strengthening and supporting families and ensuring the well-being of children of all ages.
Parents’ Place offers classes, home visits, referrals, support groups, and supervised visitation to families throughout Cowlitz County.
We will offer Battles, Hassles, Tantrums, and Tears on Tuesday evenings starting October 20. This class covers parental anger, children's anger, tantrums, age-appropriate discipline, calming techniques, communication, and cooperation. $20 per week, reduced rate available. We ususally start the fall with Love and Logic and that is what we are going to do. This five week class is appropriate for raising any age children. Class starts Tuesday September 15 from 6-8pm. The fee is $20 and it can be lowered if you request a reduced amount. If you need to bring children to class with you, bring snacks and something for them to do.
