Parents’ Place is a 28 year old non-profit family resource center dedicated to promoting a community commitment to healthy parenting, strengthening and supporting families and ensuring the well-being of children of all ages.

Parents’ Place offers classes, home visits, referrals, support groups, and supervised visitation to families throughout Cowlitz County.

We are offering the Children in Between class on Saturday April 25 from 8am to noon. This class is on avoiding the pitfalls of co-parenting. If you are filing a parenting plan, this class meets the Washington State requirement of a four hour parenting class on the effects of divorce and separation on children. $40. No scholarships or childcare available.

We seem to be on a Love and Logic kick right now. Our class offering for April is...you guessed it...Love and Logic! Class meets every Tuesday from 6-8pm starting April 14. $20/25 per week. If you need to bring children with you to class, please bring snacks and someting to keep them busy. We are offering Love and Logic: Adults Supporting Youth with Challenging Pasts on Thursday evenings in March. This six week class for people raising or working with children who have experienced trauma and/or loss starts Thursday March 12 from 6-8pm. No childcare provided and due to the subject matter children over 2yrs. old are unable to be in class.
